Wethersfield Farm Spring Conditioning Ride – CANCELLED

Get your horse in shape this Spring at Wethersfield Farm Spring Conditioning Ride on Saturday, April 27, 2019, rain or shine, at the beautiful Wethersfield Estate, owned and operated by Homeland Foundation, a not for profit organization, in Amenia, NY. Riders can start their ride any time between 9:00 am and noon.

Riders follow a marked trail at their own pace on some of Wethersfield’s scenic trails. It will be a beautiful way to see some of Dutchess County’s spectacular trails and get your horse in condition on our rolling terrain. The ride is approximately 5 miles and includes many optional jumps. There will also be a picture jump.

Safety helmets are mandatory when mounted. Ample parking is available. Bring water for your horse(s) as water is not available nearby the trailer parking. A signed release form is required by all riders and can be filled out the day of the event. A release form is available  at http://www.wethersfieldgarden.org/trail-use-information.html. Registration will be done the day of the event. Riders with release forms on file must check in with registration prior to starting their ride. Riders under 18 must have a signature from a parent or legal guardian. You must provide proof of negative coggins within 2 years.

PRICES FOR RIDE:   Youth (under 18): $40    Adult: $55

Cash or check only please, made payable to “Homeland Foundation” (Please note that a portion of your entry fee can be treated as a charitable donation.)

Lunch is included in the ride fee. Additional lunches are $10.00. Lunch is being provided by the Stanford Nursery School as a fund raiser for the school.

Please Note: All participants in equestrian activities on Wethersfield property must wear ASTM/SEI certified riding helmets and must completely fill out and sign a liability release form.
